I started my photography career after completing Ken Kobre's photojournalism program and graduating form San Francisco State University. An internship at the Contra Costa Times turned into full time position and I spent 15 years covering daily assignments around the Bay Area and beyond. Some highlights include covering the Winter Olympic trials in Salt Lake City, Utah, following local families to Shanksville, PA and New York City as they searched for answers about their loved ones who died on 9/11, and the thrilling athletic moments as Barry Bonds chased baseball history only to mired in controversy. Love him or hate him, it was a wild ride and I'm glad I was on the train.
